As part of our contractual engagement, where you have entered into a service with us and the processing is necessary to perform this service, we need to obtain and process data. This data includes any offline physical data or online data that makes a person identifiable.
While conducting our services, we may process employee, service provider and client contact details. Such details will be provided from the client. We will use this data for purpose of contacting the relevant individuals as part of the engagement in our legitimate interest for workshops/interviews and to provide training.
Only where specifically instructed by the client, client’s employee records, customer records and outsourced service provider records may be provided to Datatrails to conduct sample testing of the data as part of our contractual engagement. Where possible we will endeavour to use anonymised data for sample testing and to provide our support services.
We will only process special categories of data where you have explicitly agreed to us processing your information or where we are processing this data on the instruction of our client where explicit consent is obtained by our client.
Where consent is relied upon as a basis for processing of any personal data, you will be presented with an option to agree or disagree with the collection, use or disclosure of personal data. Once consent is obtained, it can be withdrawn at any stage.
The personal data processed may be necessary for compliance with a legal obligation we have, such as keeping records for revenue or tax purposes or providing information to a public body or law enforcement agency. We may be required to process certain data to carry out our obligations under employment, social security or social protection law; the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We are required by law to process that data in order to ensure we meet our 'know your client' and 'anti-money laundering' obligations.
We have a legitimate interest pursued by us
We are unable to provide our engagement services if the necessary required personal data is not provided.
